Safety & Wellness Program Manager, International Rescue Committee San Diego

With a personal mission to make the world a better place for the marginalized, Ryana Contreras has over ten years of professional experience in nonprofit program management in San Diego. Currently on staff at the International Rescue Committee, Ryana manages the Safety & Wellness Department providing case management, a food and nutrition program and Women’s Resilience Center to serve populations impacted by forced migration and survivors of crime. From managing staff, volunteers and interns, to project deliverables and budgets, she has a proven track record of successfully growing programs in alignment with the mission of the organization. Additionally, she has created experiences for families and youth, and hosted community gatherings for thousands of participants, research conferences, fundraisers and hundreds of engaging events.
