David joined the ArtReach mural team in 2025 as a part of the Designing Creative Futures program through California Lawyers for the Arts. He has been passionate about the arts since his youth. He was a part of the Chicano Park Restoration Project in 2024, where he participated in the restoration of the historic 1992 Izcalli mural. He has also contributed two murals of his own to Chicano Park. He believes that conserving tradition and culture is important for future generations, and art is a way to express, teach and tell stories.
