Amanda (she/her) is a San Diego-based nonprofit marketing professional and mixed media artist. With over a decade of experience in diverse marketing and communications roles, she has crafted award-winning social media campaigns, developed creative and effective content strategies, and made significant impacts through optimized digital marketing efforts.
Drawn to cause-driven work, Amanda has applied her marketing expertise in the arts and culture sector at the USS Midway Museum, engaged in community work at The San Diego LGBT Community Center, and now as the Director of Communications + Marketing at The New Children’s Museum.
As an artist, Amanda’s passion for colorful abstracts, patterns, print work, and collage began with a childhood visit to SF MOMA. However, it wasn’t until 2018 that she picked up a paintbrush and her artistic journey truly began. Today, her vibrant layered mixed media creations are inspired by her connections with family, friends, and everyday life, offering much more than meets the eye.
Amanda is a proud Board Member of the San Diego Women’s Foundation and ArtReach, where she is able to combine her professional expertise and personal passion to inspire creativity, learning, and development through art for youth across San Diego.
