Keeping the "A" in Education: STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics)

"Decades of research show strong and consistent links between high-quality arts education and a wide range of impressive educational outcomes."
-President's Report on Reinvesting in Arts Education: Winning America's Future Through Creative Schools

In every ArtReach workshop, we see the value of engaging students in the visual arts first hand. Students become invested in the lessons, they feel satisfied with both the process and the outcome, and, frequently, teachers learn something new about a student's abilities.  Our work reflects the findings of business leaders, educational organizations, and policy makers that support keeping the arts in education at all levels.

Beyond the significant benefits of a well-rounded education, scientific and high-tech companies worldwide are recognizing that without education that develops artistic, creative thinking, our future candidates for science and engineering positions may not possess important problem-solving skills. Here you will find research supporting arts education and links to sites that keep abreast of the latest STEAM related issues.
