These two murals are located in the central courtyard at Museum School, a space where students gather, eat lunch, and where frequent school events take place. ArtReach worked with every student (over 120 youth from K-8th grade) at this school to come up with ideas and to paint both murals! Designed by Isabel Halpern, these murals celebrate growth, acceptance, working together, and all of the unique things that make Museum School the incredibly special space that it is: sewing, art, music, drama, field trips to Balboa Park, sports, kindness, discovery, nature, friendship and more. Each tile around the central arch was painted directly by students, individually reflecting small windows into daily life, activities, and values as a Museum School student. 

We have loved being neighbors with this school and look forward to our continued partnership over the years.
